Job Description

Overview Genesis10 is seeking a Senior ETL Developer (Navision to Microsoft Dynamics 365) for a 6 month contract role in St. Paul, MN. The role is 100% remote. The candidate will lead data integration and migration efforts from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and work with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and IT. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement in iterations an ETL solution to extract and transform 40+ data files from Navision into Microsoft Dynamics 365 format using SQL. Map legacy NAV data structures to Dynamics 365 schemas, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Develop strategies for incremental loads. Data Quality & Validation Define and enforce data cleansing, validation, and transformation rules to maintain high data quality. Perform reconciliation and root-cause analysis for data discrepancies during migration. Collaboration & Documentation Partner with MS D365 implementation consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements and align solutions. Document data mapping, transformation logic, and migration processes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in ETL development in a Microsoft environment. Strong, current SQL skills for data extraction and transformation. Deep understanding of ERP/MRP data models, financial data structures, and master data management. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience migrating data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to Dynamics 365 (MRP, Finance & Operations, Business Central, Customer Engagement). Background in finance, supply chain, or manufacturing data within ERP systems. Prior involvement in full-cycle ERP/MRP migration or large-scale enterprise transformation projects. Soft Skills Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to lead data migration workstreams independently. Detail-oriented, with a focus on data quality and business outcomes. Compensation Hourly W2 pay: $75.00 to $85.00/hour. We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
