Job Description

The Part-time Science Lab Manager will support the on-campus and external location faculty by maintaining and organizing labs. Duties would include maintaining an inventory of chemicals, equipment, and supplies, maintenance of safety equipment to ensure a safe working environment, keeping inventories of consumables up-to-date, supervision of work-study students, cleaning and organizing the laboratories, testing for new labs as proposed by faculty, and maintenance of microbiology stock organisms.


Associate degree with a strong science education background or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in science related field preferred. Valid driver's license and travel to external locations also required. Position will not exceed 19.5 hours per week.

Salary range is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
