Job Description
Essential Functions / Job Duties: - Participants will engage in summer employment, off site, at a business partner in the community, in conjunction with the YMCA of South Florida.
- Participants will complete tasks assigned by business partner.
- Participants will follow YMCA of South Florida and / or business partner policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities / Position Requirements: - Demonstrate the motivation to improve employability skills.
- Willingness to follow and complete assigned tasks.
- Current participant in good standing with YMCA STEP Program.
- Have reliable transportation to and from job-training site.
- Be available to work for the duration of the program.
- Possess the stamina to complete a 6-hour workday with lunch break and accommodations as needed.
- Pass drug test and background screening.
- Complete YMCA online employment application.
- Adhere to the dress code required by employment site or YMCA of South Florida.
- Participant may be asked to complete additional requirements by the place of their internship placement.
