POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an Operations position responsible for supervising the activities associated with warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the supervision of order selection, product replenishment, order loading, ensuring safety and security of the warehouse and providing management and direction to assigned warehouse staff. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Various schedules and positions available in Load out Operations between 10am - 7pm
• All positions require working on weekends and holidays

BENEFITS

• $78,000- $85,000/ yr.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct shipping and receiving audits daily ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and that materials ( empty cases, product, equipment etc.) is handled and stored correctly with a minimum potential for loss.
• Assist with the training of new employees, including cross training of existing employees.
• Maintain on-going interaction with truck drivers, warehouse and office team; keeps open communication channels with employees by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors employee morale and safety culture especially in the dock areas.
• Coordinates and sets up customized shipping or receiving operations for specific wholesale customers.
• Assist other Warehouse Managers with preparation of the warehouse for shipping operation.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, FDA, USDA, IFS.)
• Conducts Site Safety and quality control inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Associate Degree and two or more years of experience working in a warehouse environment with management or supervisory experience.
• Practical experience with MS- Office - Outlook and Excel
• Experience and ability to train on the use of Inventory management systems
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to plan and coordinate projects in collaboration with other managers.
