We're now hiring year-round, part-time instructors with leadership opportunities available within your first 3-6 months Join as an instructor and explore the fin-tastic opportunities (and endless fish puns), even if this is your after school or second job.

We are actively growing our leadership team of Golden Teachers, Trainers (Golden Buddies) and Deck Supervisors - all you have to do is learn our curriculum, culture and build relationships from within your team

Requirements: - Ability to swim ; everyone on our team is lifeguard, CPR & AED certified. You'll go through our in-house lifeguard certification program as part of your training and you must pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to complete the course
- Must be able to commit to missing no more than one class every 6 weeks (80-90% attendance) for each day you work
- You will find and prepare your own substitute teacher when you aren't able to teach yourself, leaving notes so that your substitute can be as fin-tastic as you are
- Ability to be in the water for 4 hours at a time; this is an in-water position in a chlorinated pool and can be difficult for individuals with sensitive skin without proper pre and post shift care
Schedule: - This position is a great opportunity for those ages 16 and up and others who are interested in an exciting, part time position. Your schedule will be created based on your availability and our set lesson times from:
- 9:00-1:00 on Monday and Tuesday
- 4:00-7:30 Monday through Wednesday
- 4:00-7:00 on Thursday
- 9:00-1:00 on Saturday
- 9:00-4:00 on Sunday
- You'll be scheduled for the same days each week (Ex. every Monday from 4:00-8:00) and arrive 15 minutes before lessons start to participate in the pre-shift meeting
- We won't ask you to stay late at night, when lessons end, we go home!
*We do not offer half-shifts or mid-shifts, you must be available for the above mentioned lesson times

We come from all different backgrounds - child care worker, camp counselor, babysitter or nanny, stay at home mom, elementary education or teachers ade, physical therapy assistant or healthcare worker. Team members in the past have worked with Goldfish through High School and College to move into management positions, making memories that last a lifetime!
