e&e is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a hybrid contract opportunity in Harrisburg, PA!

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and implement robust ServiceNow solutions to support enterprise IT service management. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, administrators, system specialists, and business analysts to develop and maintain scalable applications, integrations, and custom modules within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in JavaScript, the Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting practices, as well as a collaborative mindset for working within Agile teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and integrations.
• Customize core ITSM applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.
• Create and maintain custom applications/modules using ServiceNow Studio.
• Develop business rules, client scripts, workflows, UI actions/policies, and automated tasks.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
• Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to clarify and gather requirements.
• Create reports, dashboards, and performance analytics widgets.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and maintain code quality and security standards.
• Maintain system documentation for configurations, customizations, and architectural decisions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API, with adherence to ServiceNow scripting best practices.
• Experience with ITSM and at least one additional module (e.g., ITOM, HRSD, SPM, Source2Pay).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITSM, HRSD, Discovery).
• Experience using the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and Flow Designer.
• Understanding of CMDB and ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience with Employee Service Portal and custom widget development.
