Job Overview – Senior Tax Provision Manager:Compensation: $130,000 – $135,000/year + bonusLocation: New Castle County, DESchedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Lead tax provision reporting as a Senior Tax Provision Manager with our client in New Castle County, DE (Hybrid). In this high-impact role, you'll oversee ASC 740 provision processes, manage SOX documentation, and collaborate with international teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting. Strong proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, Hyperion, and U.S. GAAP is required, with a background in life sciences or IP-driven industries preferred. Responsibilities as the Senior Tax Provision Manager: Tax Provision & Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual provision workpapers, footnotes, and disclosures under ASC 740, US GAAP, and SEC guidelines. Analytics & Reporting: Develop ETR analytics and tax summaries to support management reporting and strategic planning. Entries & Reconciliations: Record tax entries and reconcile accounts, including intercompany transactions and uncertain tax positions. Audit & SOX Compliance: Manage SOX documentation and support internal and external audit requirements. Tax Support: Collaborate with international teams on local provisions and assist with U.S. international tax planning. Modeling & Projects: Assist with tax impact modeling, automation initiatives, and special projects as needed. Qualifications for the Senior Tax Provision Manager: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (CPA preferred). Experience: 5+ years of tax provision experience in public accounting or corporate tax, preferably with combined Big 4 and industry backgrounds. Industry Knowledge: Preferred background in life sciences or IP-driven industries, with familiarity in transfer pricing and U.S.-international tax regulations. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and Excel required, with preferred experience in SAP and Hyperion for tax and reporting workflows. Skills & Attributes: Strong communicator and analytical thinker with expertise in ASC 740, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on process automation and continuous improvement.
