Job Summary
Join our dedicated team in delivering exceptional nursing care in an ambulatory setting! We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide routine, standardized care for patients under the supervision of a physician.

Essential Functions

Deliver direct nursing care within established policies, procedures, and protocols based on individualized patient plans addressing their physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in ambulatory care nursing to promote wellness and manage health-related issues.
Assess patient needs and apply current knowledge and evidence-based practices to develop tailored care plans.
Administer medications and treatments adhering to approved nursing protocols.
Document and coordinate patient care consistently, including assessments, education, and safety measures.
Delegate appropriate tasks to healthcare team members based on patient needs and their competencies.
Follow infection control measures and safety protocols diligently.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions and concerns.
Educate patients and families on self-care post-visit to empower them in managing their health.
Incorporate education for patients and families throughout the care process to facilitate informed health decisions.
Ensure a compassionate and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
Act as a role model and mentor for other care team members.
Participate in departmental and organizational meetings.
Complete compliance training as required.
Practice efficient use of supplies and resources while ensuring cleanliness and safety in the environment.
Assume responsibility for professional development and continuing education.
May serve as a preceptor or participate in shared governance efforts.
Adhere to all organizational compliance policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management position that reports to a supervisor or manager.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
Experience: No prior experience necessary.
In Lieu Of
We accept an RN diploma or certificate along with a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State in place of an Associate's degree.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or RN license to practice in the applicable state.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Qualifications and competencies will be assessed based on organizational needs.
