Job Description

Leidos QTC Health Services and our affiliated medical professional corporations (PCs), Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C. , collaborate closely with both government and private sector clients to address a range of health service needs. We specialize in disability-focused medical examinations, independent medical exams, occupational health services, diagnostic testing, and case management solutions. We are excited to invite applications for a Regional Medical Leadership Role to drive the company’s strategic growth and operational success. This position entails providing clinical leadership to employed and contracted healthcare providers, ensuring that high-quality services are delivered across all QTC lines of business. The selected candidate will also interpret and analyze medical examination results in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Candidates must be willing to reside within commuting distance of a Leidos QTC Health Services clinic.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail when reviewing examination results.
  • Apply regulatory guidelines and interpret exam results to make informed medical determinations regarding job position eligibility and compliance.
  • Utilize independent judgment to make significant decisions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of specific contract guidelines and requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with an exam management team of physicians, medical review nurses, and program managers to facilitate efficient processing of medical determinations.
  • Communicate examination results and provide medical guidance to clients supporting their occupational health objectives.
  • Assist in developing and implementing guidelines based on medical directives and regulatory updates.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training, ensuring a culture prioritizing safe operating conditions.
  • Complete required physical training courses to serve as a reviewing officer (e.g., firefighting courses).
  • When necessary, fulfill Medical Review Officer (MRO) responsibilities as outlined in contracts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $270,000 - $330,000 with potential for an annual bonus of up to 15%.

  • Proficient in electronic medical records and relevant technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understand workplace health and safety concepts along with OSHA regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an unrestricted license to practice in the U.S.
  • ABMS Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
  • A minimum of five years of outpatient clinical practice experience, including diagnostic testing.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and office equipment; must be skilled in MS Office products.
  • Strong analytical skills to research and interpret complex medical information.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain required clinical training and certifications for contracts.
  • Eligibility for government clearances (LARS/Public Trust Clearance, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MRO Certification.
  • Experience with dictation systems and federally regulated medical examinations.
  • Active government clearance strongly preferred.
  • Military background is highly desirable.
