Our team of passionate culinary professionals is growing, and were looking for a dynamic Recruiter to help us find and welcome the next generation of talented chefs and support staff.

Position Summary

The Recruiter plays a key role in building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline for our growing multi-market team (WA, CA, NV). This position manages the full-cycle recruiting processfrom sourcing and screening to onboardingprimarily for personal chefs, in-home chefs, and event chefs. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and skilled at balancing multiple searches while providing a stellar candidate experience aligned with DTECs high service standards.

What Youll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for culinary and support roles, including postings, sourcing, interviews, reference checks, and offers.

  • Build and maintain pipelines of high-quality candidates across multiple markets.

  • Partner with hiring managers and operations staff to understand role requirements and identify ideal fits.

  • Utilize our applicant tracking system and maintain accurate candidate communication and documentation.

  • Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, and guide candidates through each stage of the process.

  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Support onboarding by coordinating documentation, conducting virtual orientation, and HR setup.

  • Track and report key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and 90-day retention.

  • Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our recruiting strategy, sourcing methods, and employer branding.

  • Network with culinary schools, professional organizations, and industry events to identify potential talent.

What You Bring

  • 35+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience; hospitality or culinary industry experience preferred.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Excellent organization and time-management abilitiesable to juggle multiple requisitions at once.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet) and applicant tracking systems (CareerPlug preferred).

  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and culture fit.

  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

  • Recruiting certifications (LinkedIn Talent Solutions, AIRS, etc.) a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $28-30/hour DOE

  • Schedule: Part-time, 1520 hours/week (up to 25 during peak hiring season)

  • Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

  • Benefits Include:

    • Health, dental, and vision insurance through Regence Blue Cross (for eligible employees)

    • Paid Sick Leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked, per WA law)

    • Paid Time Off (0.77 hours per 40 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually)

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote position with flexible hours with the greatest need anticipated in the 10am-2pm PST timeframe.

  • May require occasional travel to local events, networking functions, or culinary demonstrations.

  • Fast-paced environment requiring professionalism, adaptability, and confidentiality.
