We're hiring a full time QuickBooks Bookkeeper for our corporate office in Bloomfield Hills. You bring us your experience in QuickBooks, payables, spreadsheets, bank recs, receivables, month end/ year end, P&L, and other accounting tasks; in return we'll offer you a great compensation package including benefits and a chance to work with passionate accounting professionals who support one another, all while expanding on your accounting skill set!

Main Tasks

• Enter and reconcile postings in General Ledger
• Accounts payables processing
• Credit card reconciliation
• Maintain confidentiality
• Prepare daily deposits
• Bank and payment reconciliations
• Prepare check requests, financial statements, reports and analysis
• Process month end/ quarter end/ year end closing and reporting
• Back-up support to others on the Accounting team

Education & Skills needed to perform this position:

• HS/GED + 3-5 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience

OR

• 2 or 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance + 0.5-2 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a business setting

AND

• QuickBooks expertise - intermediate to advanced knowledge of using QuickBooks
• Efficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Organizational, communications, mathematical and prioritizing skills
• Self-motivation, flexibility, sound judgment, adaptability and a drive to see results
• Ability to anticipate upcoming work needs based on routine and schedule
• Preferably previous experience working for multi-entity companies
