Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager for a hybrid role in Cleveland, OH. The PM will oversee the full lifecycle of renewable energy and energy efficiency installation projects. This role will involve managing diverse projects, including solar, LED lighting, power quality, HVAC, UVGI, water conservation, high-voltage electrical systems, air compressors, and more. Qualified candidates will be responsible for designing solutions, developing proposals, managing installations, and ensuring project success from initiation to completion and have 1+ years of project management experience in construction, energy, electrical, engineering, or a related field.
Salary Range: $33-45 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Project Management job responsibilities include:
Budgeting and Bid Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids for materials and labor from vendors and subcontractors.
- Monitor and control project expenses to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Installation and Execution
- Oversee installation schedules and ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to manage logistics and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Project Closeout and Reporting
- Verify project completion and quality standards before closing out in the company's CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver final reports, including project performance, ROI analysis, and client feedback.
- Ensure all documentation, warranties, and rebates are properly processed and archived.
Stakeholder Communication and Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of experience managing construction, engineering, power, electrical, or renewable energy and/or energy efficiency projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Be able to work hybrid onsite in downtown Cleveland.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM software, project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet HubSpot, or equivalent), and financial modeling.
- Excellent spoken and written communication.
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
- Motivation and target-driven mindset.
- Proven performer with a track-record of achievement and success.
- Ability to foster open communication, share insights and work collectively to deliver exceptional results and enhance customer experience.
- Adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Plusses includePMP (Project Management Professional) certification, LEED Accreditation or other sustainability-related certifications, or NABCEP certification for solar projects.
