Nursing Faculty and Instructor Opportunities- Registered Nurse (RN) Part-time Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA, a leader among the nation's independent, two year colleges, has immediate openings for Nursing Faculty and Instructors. Opportunities are available in both the day and evening programs and may be staffed on a full-time, part-time or adjunct basis.
Clinical Opportunities require in-person instructors. Didactic opportunities may be performed in-person or online.
Clinical Opportunities
Clinical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing Direct clinical supervision of up to 8 students
- Completing all required clinical documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Conducting effective pre and post-conferences
- Providing meaningful and regular evaluation of students' performance and progression
- Facilitating learning and student development
- Communicating effectively and professionally with faculty, students and clinical agency staff
- Attending orientation and end of semester meeting
Qualifications/Skills:
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Current Pennsylvania Nursing License
- Current Health Care BLS/AED certification
- Minimum of 3 years medical-surgical nursing experience (preferred)
- Previous Clinical Adjunct Experience (preferred)
Didactic Opportunities
Didactic responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and presenting lectures and activities consistent with course learning outcomes and approved by the Program Director of Nursing
- Completing all required documentation (attendance, grades, student feedback) in an accurate and timely manner
- Meeting as necessary with students, faculty and Program Director s
- Providing meaningful and regular evaluation of students' performance and progression
- Facilitating learning and student development
- Communicating effectively and professionally with faculty, students
- Attending orientation and end of semester meeting
Qualifications/Skills:
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Current Nursing License
- Current Health Care BLS/AED certification
- Previous teaching experience (preferred)
