Anticipated Schedule:Part-time, guaranteed 18 hours per week with the option for additional hours on the weekends.Key Responsibilities:Custodial and Janitorial Duties:Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly throughout the day.Sweep, mop, and vacuum all museum floors and rugs as needed.Empty trash throughout the museum, offices, and outdoor areasDust and disinfect high-touch surfaces and exhibit materials.Execute cleaning procedures on schedule as communicated by the Director of Museum Experience.Exhibit and Museum Care:Clean and reset indoor and outdoor exhibit areas throughout the shift and at the end of the day.Monitor, empty, and clean tasted toy bins.Stock and organize exhibit supplies, including cleaning supplies.Maintain cleanliness and help reset the PlayLab space for scheduled activities. Care for and maintain cleanliness of our museum's Hermit Crab habitat (training provided).Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.High attention to cleanliness, safety, and organization.Comfort with light animal care (hermit crabs only).Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience is a plus.
