Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns including forklifts, man lifts, and floor scrubbers. You will communicate effectively regarding any needed repairs and ensure that work orders are completed in a timely manner while complying with all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns, including forklifts, man lifts, and floor scrubbers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management about necessary repairs.
• Complete work orders promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience with forklift repair (mechanical/electrical).
• Proficiency in electrical and engine repair.
• Experience in diesel and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with high-end automated equipment is advantageous.

Work Environment

You will be working at a state-of-the-art 625,000 square foot facility that employs over 200 employees. The facility is known for its cleanliness and efficient operation flow. You will have the opportunity to work with 16-18 forklifts, mostly gas/propane with some electric models.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lansing, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70782.00 - $77293.00/yr.
