NAV AR, a subsidiary of Cape Fox Corporation, is looking for an experienced Event Planner to join our team in Washington, DC. The salary range for this exempt position has been established at: $80,000-$85,000 . Responsibilities include: Establishing project plan with milestones for assigned event Providing weekly/bi-weekly updates to events team Providing written recommendations, pros and cons Experience using Qualtrics, WebEx, and Windows operating systems Ability to work on or lead team(s) as needed Identifying venues, inspecting potential locations, determining site specifications and requirements Determining room setup, developing room diagrams, coordinating logistics for staging and equipment Identifying A/V equipment needs, working with vendors to establish setup and strike schedules Determining food and beverage service requirements, selecting menus, establishing service times, duration, and breakdown Assisting with the approval process for the use and scheduling of multi-purpose rooms and lunchroom Coordinating talking points and other actions needed for Senior Leadership event participation Assisting with other events management duties as assigned This is a full-time, mid-senior level position in the management and manufacturing field, specifically in IT services and IT consulting.
