Join our dynamic emergency veterinary team as an Emergency Veterinarian, where your expertise will make a life-saving difference for animals in critical need. Emergency Veterinary Hospital (EVH) is a privately owned, small animal emergency hospital located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This fast-paced, rewarding role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, applying your veterinary critical care and surgical experience to stabilize and treat animals facing urgent health crises. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of veterinary professionals to deliver exceptional emergency care, ensuring each patient receives prompt, compassionate treatment in a supportive environment.

*Duties*

* Provide, high-quality medical care and surgery services to animals with urgent and life-threatening conditions.
* Maintain detailed medical records of all treatments, observations, and interventions in accordance with veterinary standards.
* Collaborate with team members, owners and referral specialists to achieve positive outcomes.
* Support pet owners through clear communication about their pet’s condition, care instructions, and follow-up needs.
* 8-14 shifts per month

*Qualifications*

* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
* Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail and compassion for animals in distress.
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and educating pet owners.
* Ability to obtain Idaho Veterinary license, Idaho Practitioner Controlled Substance Registration and DEA registration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $325,000.00 per year
