Job Description

LHH is seeking an onsite Document Control Specialist for a confidential construction project in Lenoir, NC. In this role, you'll manage project documentation using ACC, support a collaborative team, and receive hands-on training from the current specialist. 3-5 month assignment. Key Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day document control for a large, complex construction project.
• Manage drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, correspondence, procedures, and forms in ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
• Maintain file structures, version control, approvals, publishing, revisions, archiving, and retention per project standards.
• Partner closely with the Director of Special Projects, Project Manager, Superintendent, and site leadership to keep information flowing.
• Prepare templates and folder structures; ensure documents are named, stored, and distributed correctly.
• Support audits and compliance needs (lighter auditing emphasis than many DCS roles).
• Provide basic user support/training on document and record retention practices.

Requirements:

• Experience in document control (construction or regulated industries preferred)
• Familiarity with ACC/Procore or similar software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Onsite availability, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
• NDA required; background check and drug screening
