Bluewater is looking for a Native Digital Content Creator who can take an idea and run with it—planning, shooting, and editing awesome content while also supporting our producer with the daily grind. If you're comfortable behind a camera (or even just a high-quality phone), have a knack for storytelling, and know your way around video editing software, this gig is for you.

Content Creation & Production

• Plan and prep: Brainstorm content ideas, create shot lists, and map out production details.
• Shoot killer video content: Whether it’s a high-end camera or your phone, you’ll capture footage that looks and sounds amazing.
• Edit like a pro : Cut, trim, and polish content with smooth transitions, great pacing, and eye-catching visuals for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Add the extras: Throw in graphics, text overlays, animations, and other creative elements to make your content pop.
• Snap great photos: Capture and edit high-quality stills for social media and promotional use.

Supporting the Producer

• Keep things organized: Assist schedule shoots, coordinate logistics, and keep production running smoothly.
• Stay ahead of the trends: Research what’s hot in digital content and help us stay ahead of the game.
• Manage gear: Make sure cameras, audio, and lights are good to go for every shoot.
• Archive and organize footage: No lost files here—keep everything labeled and ready for future use.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the producer and hosts to keep everything aligned with our brand vision.

Social Media & Strategy

• Turn long-form into short-form: Chop up longer videos into snackable, shareable clips for reels, shorts, and GIFs.
• Help with scheduling: Assist with content calendars to make sure we’re always posting fresh stuff.
• Analyze & optimize: Look at performance metrics and suggest ways to level up our content.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience in video production, editing, and digital content creation.
• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of filming techniques—lighting, framing, and composition.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
• Bonus points if you know basic audio editing, color correction, or motion graphics!
