The Clinical Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and administration of a coordinated Clinical Operating Room and procedural area supply operations for Hartford Hospital that operates efficiently. * Develops and implements methods and systems for improving operational efficiencies, and controls supply inventory. This will include the procurement, receiving & handling, transportation, storing, accounting, and issuing of materials. * Develops and maintains Key Performance Indicators. * Develops and implements Supply Chain best practices. * Ensures adequate supply levels and coordinates timely supply distribution. * Maintains open lines of communication to ensure materials meet the required standard. * Provides leadership, guidance and support to physicians and staff to develop their understanding of supply chain best practices to ensure operational and financial goals are met. * Develops cost reduction programs while maintaining satisfaction levels. * Identifies sourcing opportunities, service improvements and product standardization consistent with the goals of meeting the client's expectations. * Actively participate in the Value Analysis program. * Maintains and supports all manual and automated systems for purchasing, receiving and distribution activities to include shipping activities as required (outbound) E**xperience · 5 years applicable experience – Healthcare logistics, distribution and supply chain Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements * · Strong problem solving and communication skills · Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization · Innovative thinker · Ability to work in storeroom, warehouse and manual labor environment We take great care of careers.
