Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $40 – $45/hour
Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Overview:

We are seeking a Temporary Recruiter to support our healthcare recruitment efforts, specifically aligned with COVID-19 testing and related initiatives. This is a full-time temporary role ideal for a team-oriented and detail-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The recruiter will collaborate closely with department leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and deliver effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with department heads and hiring managers to identify hiring needs and define recruitment goals.
  • Source, screen, and assess qualified candidates for a variety of healthcare and administrative roles.
  • Track candidate progress through applicant tracking systems (ATS); ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
  • Organize and host virtual job fairs and recruitment events to attract a diverse candidate pool.
  • Maintain recruitment-related documentation and assist with administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Experience:

  • Recruiting within healthcare environments (clinical or non-clinical roles).
  • Exposure to staffing for COVID-19 response or testing initiatives.
  • Hosting or participating in virtual recruitment events or job fairs.

Additional Details:

  • Temporary assignment with potential for extension.
  • This is an onsite or hybrid opportunity based in New York, NY (specific arrangements can be clarified during interview).
