Position Summary: As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Skyriver IT, you will oversee all aspects of our information technology infrastructure, services, strategies, and security. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology direction, ensuring the highest level of service to our clients, and driving innovation within the organization as a member of the Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities: Client Relations: Act as a presales resource for engagement with potential clients. Review and approve new client contracts before they are sent out for signature. Serve as an escalation point for client satisfaction issues. Attend Quarterly Business Reviews for key clients or meetings. Partner Relations: Build and manage relationships with key vendors to support Skyriver’s and our clients’ business and security needs. Oversee vendor and key contact relationships to enable procurement of IT services, hardware, and software by VCIOs, ensuring they meet security requirements. Conduct new vendor and product research for client solutions. Manage all vendor renewals and certification requirements to maintain partnership status. Technology Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for Skyriver IT’s clients. Act as a technical escalation point for vCIOs and key clients. Identify opportunities for technological advancements and improvements. Review SOWs above the designated threshold before they are sent out. Drive projects to completion. Mentor, guide, and discipline staff as needed. IT Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing IT Services Team. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the IT department. Set performance goals and provide coaching and feedback to team members. Provide mentoring to VCIO and Director of Remote Service on priorities and team management. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the IT Services budget. Allocate resources effectively to meet project and operational needs. Ensure cost-effective technology solutions are in place. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives for Skyriver IT. Stay current on key vertical market trends, regulations, and compliance requirements applicable to Skyriver IT clients. Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks for Skyriver IT and clients' IT environments. Recommend security technologies and tools to enhance clients' cybersecurity posture. Safeguard company data and client information from threats and breaches. Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and procedures. Promote a culture of security awareness among clients and their employees. Compliance and Governance: Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Ensure clients' adherence to relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance. Qualifications: Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a CIO or CISO. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, services, and security. Excellent client and partner relationship management skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive technological advancements. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Experience in budget and resource management. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity threats, best practices, and compliance requirements.
