Assist in the coordination, planning, execution and follow-up of Deacon Club events and tailgates. Serves as an Athletics Staff liaison on game day. *This position is not eligible for sponsorship of non-immigrant or immigrant visa status through Wake Forest University. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: BS degree in Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, or related discipline plus two to three years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines. Knowledge of alternative fundraising programs, methods, techniques and giving strategies.
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to foster a cooperative environment. Ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-range goals. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and/or projections. Proficiency in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to work evening, weekend hours and travel Valid driver license with good driving record; must be insurable. Accountabilities: Responsible for own work
