Job Description
The Agency Service Representative, also known as the ASR, is primarily responsible for client service, agent support, and new business processing and back office support. They are the first point of contact for existing clients and the Agent’s right-hand person for anything they might need.
Client Service
Dealing with incoming client correspondence via:
Phone, Mail, and Email
Following up with clients or insurance companies and assisting the agents and clients in obtaining the requirement to process service requests and make policy changes.
Agent Support
Scheduling of appointments, reporting business updates, Prepping for meetings according to administrative handbook. New business tracking and report to Agency Secretary
New Business Processing
Review and correct application for accuracy and completeness.
Application archiving:
Input the electronic scan into the appropriate electronic databases. Place the physical copy in the client’s folder.
Submitting application to the company via:
Overnight UPS mail, Fax, Secure email, Certified Mail, FedEx Rate Saver, Check for outstanding requirements and obtain what is necessary for processing. Inform the agent and client when the policy has been issued. Schedule delivery meetings. Updating clients, agents, and management regarding case statuses.
Back Office Support
Policy and service document archiving according to agency written procedure. File maintenance in compliance with agency written procedure

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Secondary Education preferred but not required

$17.00-21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
